NOTE
It is important that the sloping angle of the key match the sloping angle of the key slot in the stretcher bar.
An easy way to determine the angle of the slot in your stretcher is to place a thin ruler in the slot up against the sloped edge and to draw on a piece of paper the angle that the ruler makes with the stretcher bar (see the photo below for a demonstration). You can measure this angle or simply scan it and send it to us and we’ll do the measuring for you.
